My sister and I went strawberry picking this weekend and ended up picking 30 lbs of strawberries. We almost went back for more just in case we didn't have enough. HA! We made over 3 dozen jars of freezer jam and filled 8 more containers for freezing plain cut up berries. We made 3 different kinds of jam. The first, jam A, was a no cook recipe and used 4 cups of berries to 1.5 cups of sugar. The second, jam B, required cooking and used 4 cups of berries to 3 cups of sugar. The third, jam C, also required cooking and used 4 cups of berries and 2 cup of juice as a sweetener instead of sugar. Jam A was by far my favorite as it was the easiest to make, but we'll have to see how the taste testing goes over the next 12 months :)
